Renovation of the Mülheim Bridge

From the Keupstraße stop, line 14 follows the same route as line 4 as far as the Appellhofplatz stop, then via the Dom/Hbf stop to the Ebertplatz stop. Line 14 can therefore be used to reach the Dom Hbf and Ebertplatz stops without changing trains from the Mülheim Wiener Platz stop. The journey time from Mülheim Wiener Platz to Ebertplatz is approx. 25 minutes.

From the Stegerwaldsiedlung stop, you can take line 3 to the Appellhofplatz stop on the same platform as line 14 and vice versa. The journey time between the Stegerwaldsiedlung and Ebertplatz stops is approx. 19 minutes.

You can use the replacement bus route 118 between Niehl/Riehl and Mülheim. With the exception of the replacement bus stops Zoo/Flora, Boltensternstraße and Stegerwaldsiedlung, existing bus stops will be served where boarding is barrier-free thanks to kneeling and folding ramps. The folding ramp cannot be used at the replacement bus stop on Boltensternstraße, as the exit is at street level. A barrier-free transfer to line 18 in the direction of Dom/Hbf is not possible. With line 118, for example, you can reach the Mülheim Wiener Platz stop from the Amsterdamer Str./Gürtel bus stop (platform in the direction of Aachener Str./Gürtel) in approx. 22 minutes without changing. The journey in the opposite direction takes approx. 29 minutes. From the Riehl senior centre it takes approx. 18 minutes to the Mülheim Wiener Platz stop without changing trains. The journey in the opposite direction takes approx. 33 minutes. If you prefer to use the light rail, you can change from lines 16 and 18 to line 14 at the Ebertplatz stop and vice versa. You can change at the same platform. The total journey time depends on the changeover time. The journey time between the stops Ebertplatz and Mülheim Wiener Platz is approx. 23 minutes. If you are travelling to or from Thielenbruch or Dellbrück, change at the Stegerwaldsiedlung stop between lines 4 or 14 and line 3. For the light rail lines, this is possible at the same platform.

If you are travelling to or from Thielenbruch or Dellbrück, change from the Appellhofplatz stop to the Stegerwaldsiedlung stop between lines 14 and 3. You can do this at the same platform.

Passengers who used to change to line 18 at Neumarkt or who travelled on line 18 should now use line 3 to and from Thielenbruch. In addition to line 4, line 14 can also be used to and from Mülheim.

At the Hans-Böckler-Platz/Bf West stop, it is still possible to change from line 5 to lines 3 and 4 and vice versa. If this is not possible due to a lift fault, you can change between lines 5 and 14 at the Dom/Hbf stop. In both cases, the platform must be changed and lifts used.

It is possible to change from line 18 to lines 3, 4 and 14 or vice versa at the Poststraße stop. The platform must be changed and the lift used. If a lift is out of order at the Poststraße stop, it is possible to change between all lines up to the Appellhoffplatz stop and then between lines 14 and 18 up to the Ebertplatz stop. Platforms must be changed and lifts used.
